Background and Perspective
Prior to Google, Torrence held senior agency leadership positions with WPP & Publicis. Before his tenure in advertising, Torrence was a senior manager at Bain & Company, where he advised a broad range of clients on corporate and business unit strategy, mergers and acquisitions, new product development, and interactive strategy.
Torrence Boone holds a B.A. in Economics, with honors, from Stanford University, and a M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He is a corporate director for Macy’s (NYSE: M), a former corporate director for Finish Line (NASDAQ: FINL), a leading national specialty retailer, a board member of Pond5, a leading online marketplace for creative assets, and a board member of Effie Worldwide.

He is a distinguished alumnus of A Better Chance and he supports academic enrichment programs within traditionally underserved communities.
In his free time Boone enjoys kickboxing, snowboarding, rock climbing, yoga, fiction writing/literature, and the performing arts.
